The V-Tower by Arizer is the desktop vaporizer I would choose when I want a simple, flavour focused setup without paying for features I may never use. What I like most is the combination of pure convection heating, a fast-heating ceramic heating element, and the glass Cyclone Bowl. Instead of cooking the herb continuously against a hot surface, heated air passes through the material as I draw. As a result, the V-Tower is designed around efficient extraction, smooth flavour, and direct control over each session.
In daily use, the 3-foot 360° swivel whip system is what gives the V-Tower its relaxed desktop feel. I can draw directly whenever I want, while the borosilicate glass ends and silicone tubing keep the vapor path straightforward and easy to maintain. Moreover, the digital controls let me adjust temperature in 1°C increments across a wide 50°C–260°C / 122°F–500°F range. Therefore, I can start lower for flavour and gradually increase the temperature when I want denser vapor and a more complete extraction.
Another reason I like the Arizer V-Tower desktop dry herb vaporizer is that it stays focused on the essentials. It does not have the Extreme Q’s balloon system, remote control, or built-in fan; instead, it concentrates on whip based direct draw vaping. In addition, the Cyclone Bowl can hold approximately 0.7 grams, although Arizer recommends around 0.5 grams as a normal load and also supports much smaller microdose style loads. Consequently, the V-Tower works equally well for longer home sessions and more conservative dry herb use.

What is the best temperature for the Arizer V-Tower?
For the best Arizer V-Tower temperature, I usually think of it in two useful ranges. For smoother, more flavour focused vapor, Arizer recommends approximately 180°C–200°C / 356°F–392°F. However, for thicker and stronger vapor, the recommended range moves up to about 200°C–220°C / 392°F–428°F. Personally, I would start around the lower end and gradually increase the temperature during the session. Therefore, I can preserve flavour early while still extracting the remaining material more thoroughly toward the end.
How much dry herb should I put in the Arizer V-Tower Cyclone Bowl, and how should I pack it?
The Arizer V-Tower Cyclone Bowl can hold approximately 0.7 grams of dry herb, while Arizer’s normal-use instructions suggest loading around 0.5 grams. I find the important part is airflow rather than forcing in the maximum amount. Moreover, Arizer says the grind can be coarse, fine, or even small unground chunks depending on preference. Therefore, I would load the bowl evenly, avoid crushing it into an airflow-blocking brick, and experiment with grind size until the V-Tower vapor density and draw resistance feel right. Our favourite is the “Elbow Pack Method”.
What is the difference between the Arizer V-Tower and the Arizer Extreme Q?
The biggest difference between the Arizer V-Tower and Extreme Q is how the vapor is delivered. The V-Tower is a whip-only desktop vaporizer, whereas the Extreme Q adds a built-in fan, balloon/bag system, and remote control. In my view, the V-Tower makes more sense when I mainly want direct whip draws and do not need balloons. On the other hand, the Extreme Q is more versatile for people who specifically want bag filling or fan assisted sessions. Therefore, the V-Tower is essentially the simpler, more focused option for direct-draw desktop vaping.
Can I connect the Arizer V-Tower to a water pipe or bubbler?
Yes, the Arizer V-Tower can be used with a water pipe or bubbler. Arizer’s Glass Elbow Adapter uses a 19mm glass-on-glass GONG connection, and the company specifically recommends using Glass Elbow Adapters with the whip for water filtration setups. I like this option because adding water filtration can cool and condition the vapor while keeping the V-Tower’s convection heating system. However, depending on the joint size of the bubbler, an additional reducer or adapter may be required. Consequently, the V-Tower can become a very flexible desktop vaporizer with water filtration when paired with the correct glass fittings.
Can you microdose with the Arizer V-Tower?
Yes, the Arizer V-Tower works well for microdosing even though the Cyclone Bowl has enough capacity for much larger sessions. Arizer says you can use as much or as little dry herb as you prefer; for a microdose, lightly tamp a small amount so the material stays together. Moreover, because vapor is produced when heated air passes through the herb during a draw, you do not have to finish the entire bowl at once. Therefore, I can take a few draws, stop the session, and save the remaining material for later instead of feeling forced to consume a full bowl.
